Transportation & Delivery Services
Bustang is CDOT's bus service that provides statewide transportation options. Bustang operates between Durango and Grand Junction 365 days a year with the West Line route, with stops in Bayfield, Durango, Mancos, Cortez, Dolores, Rico, Telluride, Placerville, Ridgway, Montrose, Olathe, Delta, Grand Junction, and the Grand Junction Airport.
Bustang amenities include WiFi, power outlets, luggage storage, bike racks, and wheelchair lifts.
To access the connection in Grand Junction to/from Denver, use the following schedule:
Durango–Grand Junction–Denver:
Board the northbound Durango–Grand Junction route (originates in Bayfield at 6:10am), arrive in Grand Junction at 1:00pm
Board the eastbound West Line route in downtown Grand Junction, Route 727 with a departure time of 2:10pm or Route 723 with a departure time of 3:30pm
Denver–Grand Junction–Durango:
Board the westbound West Line Route 722 (originates at Denver Union Station at 7:00am), arrive in downtown Grand Junction at 12:35pm.
Board the southbound Durango–Grand Junction route in downtown Grand Junction, with a departure time of 1:54pm. Bus arrives in Bayfield at 7:30pm.
Tickets from Durango to Grand Junction are $43 for adults (with 50% off discounts for senior adults 65+, individuals with disabilities, and children 2-11). Fares for other destinations along the route vary by distance traveled.
Reservations are not required, but tickets should be purchased ahead of time on the Bustang Outrider m-Tix app (cash is also accepted onboard; exact fare is required). Find schedules and ticket information at RideBustang.com/Routes/Durango-Grand-Junction.
