Description
Your voice matters and in this workshop, you will learn how to use It. Public policy shapes the business climate — but many organizations aren’t sure how to effectively engage in the process. Policy Advocacy 101 is your roadmap to making an impact at the local and state levels.
Parker White, Executive Director of the Colorado Competitive Council (C3), will break down how business leaders can connect with legislators, influence policy conversations, and champion solutions that keep Colorado competitive. Walk away with practical tools and the confidence to advocate for your organization and community.
Joan Fauteaux, Government Affairs Liaison for the Legislative Action Coalition (LAC), will focus on navigating issues at the city and county level — how to stay informed, attend meetings, provide meaningful input, and remain actively engaged in local decision-making.
Through LAC’s collaborative approach, organizations work together to engage with local and state officials, advocate for economic vitality, and utilize their collective voice to gather and share information that strengthens communication and coordination across our community.
Walk away with practical tools, a clearer understanding of the legislative landscape, and the confidence to advocate for your organization and community.
