Volunteers of America Colorado (VOAC) is a non-profit human services organization serving Durango since 1985 and the state since 1896. Our local programs include The Durango Community Shelter for homeless, Southwest Safehouse for those escaping domestic violence, Veteran Services, and Senior Affordable Housing (Miramonte and Cedar View). Our mission is “to seek to identify and serve the basic needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community we serve.”
