She serves on multiple boards\, including the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO)\, chairs the Colorado Association of Regional Organizations (CARO)\, and is involved with SCAPE. She previously served eight years on the Economic Development Council of Colorado Board\, chairing it in 2021. A Leadership La Plata alum (2002 03)\, Laura has received numerous honors\, including the 2022 EDCC Chairman's Award.
