The End Game brings together the team of professionals business owners may need to navigate that transition, with expertise spanning business sales, exit planning, financial strategy, taxes, succession, and legal considerations.

This interactive, attendee-driven panel will feature:


Elise Mariner, Business Broker/Intermediary, Transworld Business Advisors – Elise works with small business owners throughout Southern Colorado and the Four Corners region to prepare for and navigate the sale of their businesses. She brings both transaction expertise and firsthand experience helping build and lead a rapidly growing business.

Roger, APMA®, CEPA® – With more than 24 years in financial services, Roger specializes in investment management, wealth planning, and business transition strategies, helping owners consider how a business transition fits into their larger financial picture.


Steve, APMA®, CEPA® – Steve brings 30 years of financial services experience along with a background in public accounting, business acquisitions, and consulting. His expertise includes wealth planning, financial strategy, and business transitions.


Brad A. Tafoya, CPA, CFP®, RLP® – A longtime Durango CPA and business advisor, Brad has spent more than three decades helping closely held business owners navigate tax strategy, financial planning, estate considerations, succession, and major life transitions.


Lindsey K.S. Nicholson, Nicholson Law, PLLC – Lindsey brings nearly 30 years of legal experience focused on business and real estate matters and has represented businesses ranging from microbreweries and restaurants to resort operators and real estate developers.

Refunds are available through the Friday before the event. After that date, no refunds will be issued, but registrations may be transferred to another attendee. Beginning July 1, credit card payments include a small platform service fee to help offset increasing payment processing costs.
