Southwest Colorado Day at the Capitol brings together employers, community leaders, and partners to engage directly with policymakers and better understand how state-level decisions impact our local economy and communities.
This day is designed to be accessible and informative—no advocacy experience required. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the legislative process, hear directly from elected officials, and have the opportunity to share real-world perspectives from Southwest Colorado.
Whether you’re new to advocacy or simply curious about how policy decisions are made, this is a chance to learn and engage in a constructive, nonpartisan setting.

Who should attend?Business owners, employers, nonprofit leaders, and community stakeholders from all of Southwest Colorado are encouraged to participate. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend—anyone interested in learning more about advocacy and representing our region is welcome.
